Cheddar Cheese,  Mayonnaise, Thousand Island dressing, Onion, Ground beef, Pickles, Sugar, Ketchup, Mustard, Bacon, Salad, Tomato, Roasted Onion, Balsamic vinegar,  BBQ Sauce, BBQ Rub

Double Bacon Burger Recipe ingredients

Burger Patties:

First we start with ground beef. You can make around 4 patties from 500g of ground beef. Take some ground beef and form those into 2 patties and put those in the freezer. When all other ingredients are prepared we can just start grilling some meat.

Use waxed paper for keeping things not sticking to each other.

Hamburger sauce:Bacon Burger Dressing

1/2  cup of Mayonnaise
1/4  cup of Chopped Onion
1/4  cup of  pickles
2       tsp Thousand Island dressing
1        tsp Sugar
4        tsp Ketchup
2        tsp BBQ Sauce
1        tsp Mustard
1        tsp Balsamic vinegar


Mix all the ingredients and put it in to the fridge. This should be enough for 4 Hamburgers. You can also do the sauce little bit earlier to let it catch some flavor.

Bacon weave:

Cut three strips of cold bacon in half and make a tight 3×3 bacon weave. You can start frying patties and bacon almost at same time.


Double Bacon Burger

Just before you turn your patties, you should start getting hamburger buns ready. Split the buns and toast the cut surfaces lightly. As I’m lazy I’m using toaster.  Best choice would be grill or frying pan.

It helps if you’re done all needed ingredients ready so you can just pile up those after buns are warm.



Spread mayonnaise sauce on the bottom half, add some lettuce, a slice of cheddar cheese and first patty.

Bacon BurgerAfter that is time to add crispy bacon weave, 2 tomatoes, BBQ sauce and some roasted onion.

Double Bacon Burger Then is time to finish bottom half by adding cheddar cheese and second patty.

Top it off with a little ketchup, pickles and onion on the top half of the bun.
